Workplace Wellbeing Plans in 2024

What are your workplace wellbeing plans for 2024? Whether your team will be working from home, HQ or a hub in 2024, I guarantee you that wellbeing will be high on the priority list for your people.

To help with your planning, we've documented all the resources, education and training that you can avail of from Workplace Wellbeing Ireland and our partners and friends in this article.

Whether you're a leader, a champion or an individual there is something for everyone at The Work Well Community in 2024.

For Leaders

In September 2024, we’ll welcome a new cohort of students to the Postgraduate Certificate in Workplace Wellness at Tangent, Trinity College Dublin. We expect the application process will open in the spring of 2024. As with previous years, places will be at a premium so make sure you are on the Work Well mailing list as we will announce details here when the application process is open.

If you’d prefer a fully online option that you can complete in your own time, the 8 Steps to Embed a Culture of Health programme is for you. The course takes participants through an evidence based 8-Step Framework for sustainable workplace wellbeing programme development. The very same framework underpins the PG Cert at Trinity.

For Champions

Wellbeing should be a shared value across the organisation, not something that is owned by one person or team. A team of wellness champions can support wellbeing leader(s) with the programme development, communication, organisation and feedback. The Wellbeing Champion training is delivered in person or online through Zoom across four workshops. Download the module overview here. N.B this course can be tailored and delivered for organisations just starting out or for those looking to re-invigorate an already established wellbeing champion team.

Mental Health Champions

Are you ready to support a friend, colleague, young person or family member who may be experiencing a mental health difficulty or in crisis with their mental health? Reach out to Donal at Mental Health First Aid Ireland to find out about their two day training programme.

Menopause Champions

Empower a team of your colleagues to play an active, ongoing role in ensuring menopause initiatives remain lively and relevant at your workplace. Reach out to Catherine O’Keeffe, the Wellness Warrior.

Join Brian Pennie as he highlights key techniques including gratitude, visualisation, affirmations and mindfulness to demonstrate how routines don't have to take time, they make time.
