H2 2026: People Manager Wellbeing Training

One of the clearest messages from our 2025 Workplace Wellbeing Survey was that organisations don’t need more wellbeing initiatives; they need more confident managers.

That insight led to the launch of our People Manager Wellbeing Training Programme, with the first open cohort earlier this year welcoming 28 managers from organisations across the public sector, semi-state, healthcare, transport, charities and professional services.

The feedback has been incredibly encouraging. Almost 90% of participants said the programme had already changed, or would fundamentally change, how they lead their teams, with many highlighting the practical nature of the content and how quickly they were able to apply it in their day-to-day management.

Since then, we’ve continued to refine the programme through client delivery and participant feedback. From September, there will be two ways to access it.

Option 1: In-company delivery

The full six-module programme can be delivered exclusively for your managers, either in person, online or through a blended approach. Many organisations choose to begin with an in-person session before completing the remaining modules online, giving managers the opportunity to build relationships while maintaining the flexibility of virtual learning.

The programme covers:

·       Workplace Wellbeing Fundamentals

·       Creating Psychological Safety

·       Having Effective Wellbeing Conversations

·       Understanding Workload and Boundaries

·       Building Team Wellbeing Practices

·       Measuring Impact and Continuous Improvement

Across the six modules, managers develop practical skills they can immediately apply to leading their teams—from creating psychological safety and having effective wellbeing conversations, to managing workload, setting healthy boundaries and embedding wellbeing into everyday management. Each module includes a practical workbook, tools and personal action plans that managers can use within existing processes such as one-to-ones, performance conversations and team charters. The aim is simple: to bake wellbeing into how managers lead, not bolt it on as another task.

"We already have a leadership development programme. Can we simply plug in the wellbeing modules we're missing?"

Absolutely. You can choose the modules that best complement your existing leadership or management development programme. Whether it's one module or a combination of the six, organisations simply select the topics that address their biggest capability gaps, without duplicating training already in place. This has worked particularly well with recent clients in the Civil Service, hospitality and professional services sectors.

The full six-module programme is available for €9,999, while individual modules can be selected from €2,499 to complement your existing leadership or management development programme.

For organisations looking to focus on the areas that matter most, our three-module package (€4,999) offers the best value and the flexibility to address key capability gaps without duplicating existing training.

Option 2: Open Cohort

For individuals or small groups of colleagues, our second open cohort begins on Tuesday 22 September.

The programme is delivered live online across six three-hour modules, with a two-week gap between sessions to allow participants to apply their learning and complete practical action plans between sessions.

Dates: 22 September, 6 October, 20 October, 3 November, 17 November and 1 December.

Times: 10.00am-1.00pm for all sessions, with the exception of 3 November, which takes place from 2.00pm-5.00pm.

Investment: €499 per person.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen the capability of one manager or an entire leadership team, the programme provides practical, evidence-based tools that help managers support wellbeing through the work they already do every day.

How do I sign up?

Bookings are now open for both our September Open Cohort and in-company programmes. If you'd like to secure places on the Open Cohort, or discuss bringing the programme into your organisation, you can drop me a line. Open Cohort places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with bookings confirmed on receipt of payment. For organisations interested in an in-company programme, early enquiries are recommended to secure preferred delivery dates from September onwards.

Yours in health,

Brian
